It is a shame none of my friends are particularly fashion forward or opinionated on my appearance. John, I adore you, but “i think you always look nice :)!” Is unhelpful. Dave, so is “you could go bald but we have no idea how your skull looks under there and you could be totally egg shaped so let’s settle on you having hair”. I am starting to think I need more female friends. Though Jade has such thick, long hair that I’m intimidated.

i can give criticism, i mean i'm self conscious about a lot of things about myself... but also therapy is helping me be less of a uh suck up
I’m happy you’ve started doing that, then. I’ve never been to therapy but I do know a fair bit on the subject at least. It’s nice to hear you’ve benefitted.
