They cow their head--a trait you used to find endearing when they c001d no longer meet your eyes when your tongue dripped poison. The taunting becomes annoyance. Where's the fire they had when you were younger? Is this all they have? It event001ly gets physical. The growls become roars, teeth meet flesh. They start fighting back, if only in self preservation. But that's enough for you. It event001ly becomes enjoyable even. They didn't have to fight to survive like you did, their mortality was granted to them in the hue of their b100d. But you? You know how to dodge their claws, counter their swipes. Event001ly you even start teaching them, because you want it to stay fun, and event001ly, they learn. When did you start feeling e%citement for them? When they get home from their duty and you pounce them with teeth bared, using their cranky e%haustion as a means to start a scuffle? And when did that bite become a kiss? They have you pinned to the door, lips on yours. You allow it, letting your lips part to grab their tongue in your teeth. But it's a distra%on, and you shove them off, towards the table, knocking things down as you pin them flat to it. You're the one in control, you've been since they culled you, and you're going to show them what your hate really means.
