Oftentimes, I like to engage in philosophical debate, but it’s pretty easy to tell when someone’s in bad faith, or arguing points they don’t actually understand. Not that I mind that much when somebody I care about does it, I mean Dave does it with so much masterful irony I can hardly tell when he’s joking. It becomes funny, rather than a real debate. However, when Hal does it, it’s insufferable. I mean, I know that he knows better. I trained him to know better, and he’s also formed from my logical brain. He is only doing it to piss me off. We usually get along these days but it’s little things like this I wonder why he provokes me. Is it just because that’s what we’ve established?
