in fairness, i think the idea is that sbUrb is typically not played by the same species twice in a row. hUmans and trolls get to floUrish, and some faraway planet will develop life all on its own to begin the cycle anew. we also do know that by the time earth experiences another sbUrb session, it will already be UnpopUlated, save for two cherUbim! i wonder where we've all gone by then... scattered aboUt the stars to do oUr godly bUsiness? if i'm still alive by then, i'll probably fly by to observe my brother's entry.

i did the calcUlations awhile ago, based on the constellations from my childhood and the time it takes a star to become a red giant. my hatching, if i'm right aboUt which star i grew Up Under, is on the scale of five million years away! we will all be very, very different people by that time. i find that comforting, oddly enoUgh.
