((Genuine pondering: I've been kind of trying to feel out the vibes on this site to see how much angsty sad narrative shit I can incorporate into my Rox without it being Too Much. It's a tough line to toe because on the one hand, he is written in such a way to be a healthy outlet and to help me process some real life junk, and I want to create a narratively interesting character for myself... but I also genuinely do NOT want to make anyone seriously uncomfortable or portray something that would just be pointlessly upsetting or distasteful. Could use some advice on this honestly.))
((I think as long as you tag your posts with whatever is upsetting in the post, you can do as you please within the site's rules! This website is very user friendly IMO with how the block feature works, so if anyone has an issue with your posts they can just filter the tags or block you entirely. Your intro mentions it all as well, so you've done your part! It's up to other users to curate their own experience since you've done your part already :) ))
\\ i think you should go for it. people are able to block you if they are uncomfortable with the topics you are depicting, and as long as you follow the tagging guidelines for certain topics you're all good. its a matter of preference. lotta people do stuff on this website others are uncomfortable with, you absolutely wouldn't be the first person on here to do what you want. i think you should do it. let it be an outlet. there absolutely are people who will be into what you're putting down. it can be scary to put yourself out there like that but i think you should go for it.
((Yeah trust I'm being very very careful about that specifically lol. It helps that his stuff is kind of coming from a different place than mine. I am processing basically a need for constant external validation and attention which I cannot safely seek out in real life. He's a character and consequences aren't really a thing for him in the same way so he can participate in more risky/dangerous attention seeking behaviors in this fictional situation etc. Tags are definitely important.))

I definitely do not want it to come across like I'm glamorizing or mocking mental illness bc that sucks. I think the best move will be to use plenty of tags like ppl are saying. ))
