IT'S SORT OF RESOLVED ITSELF, BUT FOR FUTURE REFERENCE: IS IT WEIRD TO DATE SOMEONE FROM A DIFFERENT TIMELINE. AND IN A HYPOTHETICAL SITUATION WHERE ONE OF THE TWO IS ALREADY DATING ANOTHER VERSION, IS IT CHEATING EVEN IF IT'S ANOTHER YOU.
well picture if you were in the same timeline as them at the same time as their timeline's you. you aren't actually the other you right? technically you are still two separate people with two separate bodies and separate thoughts and all. like i wouldn't say that dave sprite and dave are the same guy for example. if someone were to date dave sprite and then try to date dave despite already being with dave sprite then they would be cheating on dave sprite. i don't think dating someone from another timeline is weird but unless you can work out some polyamorous thing then yes the situation you described would be cheating. sorry if that was wordy.
