I think it's a travesty that the Texas Dog isn't from Texas. I also have to admit, as much as it pains me to the core, that the Fenway Park dog is better than the New York one. We did have our very own marsdog here in the US Martian colony of New Minnesota before the meteors. If only we were represented on this map, but unfortunately I think that my reality- universe- whatever where humans advanced far enough to colonize the stars might be a bit of an outlier. In the spirit of participating anyway! It is made with a potato bun, a pork dog with a snappy casing simmered in beer and then grilled, all topped with relish, finely minced onion, and a squeeze of mustard. Most know it as the Marsdog, but among us martians it was the martian beerdog. All of our dogs were porkbased because cows required too much space to be raised for beef. I appreciate being able to reminisce about home a little bit. Apocalypses can be tough; I found that out the hard way. It eases my home sickness to get to thinking about it.
Tldr: Thank you for making a silly space to talk about hot dogs. I am going to have to try one denver style, now.
