my fav vocaloids and synths that kinda got forgotten about because people are crypton sluts - DIANA (i love empath-P, wicked girl and tin boy ougugugh) - LOLA (FIRST EVER GIRLY she was THAT BITCH) - Tonio (his stressed schwa might crash the program but ough hes so yummy) - Iroha Nekomura (transmasc VA!) - ALYSS (POUCET RAISED ME) - PANDORA CV-C (very obscure utau released by yin-p that has a cuban accent ougugugh) - KHRIST (its literally just khrissy's voice i use it all the time)

vocaloid is a vocal synthesis program developed by yamaha in the mid-late 2000's where you can render notes and lyrics on a piano roll. when played, a virtual singer, or "voicebank" will render an artificial singer. most popular is hatsune miku, but she is technically no longer a vocaloid due to now running on a different program crypton is the company that owns miku, along with rin and len kagamine, luka megurine, KAITO, and MEIKO. they legally own these characters and their branding. they initially used vocaloid, but now have their own synthesis program called piapro studio NT.
