in pragmata, all 0f your weap0ns have finite ammo and are discarded save f0r your 0ne 'primary' weapon. initially a pist0l type thing called the grip gun. you may l0l at the name now and 0nly now. 0kay, after that you get 0ne heavy, one cr0wd contr0l, and one defensive weapon. y0u can unlock the ability t0 start a level with them, but you can 0nly ever pick up new ones, n0t reload the 0ne you have. naturally this sh0uld cause a gamer to c0me two rely 0n the primary as it will always be there and requires no res0urce management. which brings me to the very b0ld choice the devs made 0f making the second primary y0u finally unlock t0tal fucking shit. it's a submachinegun that has only 20 shots and deals less damage in a full mag than the pist0l does in ab0ut 4 shots, while reloading 0ne bullet at a time just the same as the gripper. it is also drastically less accurate, s0 the damage comparis0n is even worse than the near hitscan nature of the pist0l as you will assuredly miss bullets between the heavy rec0il and spread. why did they do this? i have m0re longwinded the0ries but they all boil d0wn two many different adjectives f0r stupidity. #gaming
