How did we let creepypastas such as 'Smile Dog' and 'Jeff the Killer' dominate the horror genre of the internet when much more frightening stories and events were happening simultaneously? Perhaps I should write a dissertation on the undeserved fame of these lesser stories.
I would be inclined to agree if they weren't also popular among adult populace even then.

More than acceptable.

THEN, EDGY ADULTS AND CHILDREN WHO CAN'T HANDLE REAL HORROR. OR THEY'RE WRITING FANFICS, PEOPLE WHO WOULD SAY "HEAR ME OUT," AND IT'S A PICTURE OF AN OBJECTIVELY HOT CHARACTER.
Hm. I would be remiss to say I have missed out on this particular trend in my time among the cosmos. My "Hear me out" would have landed me in quite a pickle.

IT'S A MORE RECENT TREND. BUT WHAT'S YOUR HEAR ME OUT? I WILL JUDGE YOU. AS ONE SHOULD IF YOUR HEAR ME OUT SUCKS.
Hm. The Monster House from Monster House. A structure that rearranges itself for my habits and anticipates my movements. She would remove furnishings and doors I no longer need. She would encourage dependency. This isn't merely lust for architecture, however. I would grow to have fully understood my undead house ghost wife. She would understand me so deeply that my autonomy would become redundant. Sorry. Perhaps that was too much.

THAT'S A GOD DAMN GOOD HEAR ME OUT. I LOVE IT 10/10. THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT A GOOD HEAR ME OUT IS.
