Reading House of Leaves is what I imagine getting metaphorically skullfucked by psionics has to feel like. I've never written down so many annotations trying to make sense of it all. Excellent read though, makes me wish my residence was as bloody interesting as theirs. Can't say I feel the same jealousy towards the life of Johnny Truant, though. Been reading a particularly intriguing novel as of late. Storm Front by Jim Butcher. It's about a Chicago-based Wizard who solves crime. Not that the writing is anything to mail home about, nor are the characters, but I do find the magic system within to be quite interesting. Modern day settings aren't really my cup of tea, but I see no issue in trying something new from time to time. Am I supposed to give this a hashtag or something?
