-=[the beesstttt thermal paste pattern is an x-pattern or a ffull manual spread bbut it really depends on the shape of your CPU x-) square CPUs shhould only get a grain-sized dot right in the centerr because the pressure frrom mounting will spread the paste outwardh rectangular CPUs shhould only get a single line or an x-pattern....if you use a single dot itt can leave the corners and edges too dry manual spreads take a bit more effort....buut youu get zero dry spots.... quantity matters more thans shape x-) yyou cant use too much but dont use too littlebecause you can get hot spots orr thermal throttlinggh soo having a little ttoo much squeeze out of the sides isssaferthanmissingaspot as long as its a non-conductive ppaste and make ssure youre using 0.2ml thats the best volume yoou could use on a 30mm processor h #computerposting #thermalpastepost_☺]=-
