Financial: He's surprisingly well off for a Goldblood. He's not rich, but he's comfortable by his caste standards. Social Standing: Good - He's no longer close with Feferis, but he's remained in good standing with beforus. He has only needed to undergo re-education once in the past. Biography Sollux works and performs for the empire. Due to the technological advances and move away from biotech for everyday use, gold was needed more than ever. Sollux helps with the more digital/technical side of running the more digitally forward empire. Sollux helped design some of the systems and the connections needed for helms to connect to Androids to control them throughout the empire. Sollux himself has a designated android he works from. The andriods affect the mental state of the helm... positively :). Being one of the strongest helms, a lot of major buildings and structures, like the floating islands, are powered by him; he works with a team of helms to power them. Sollux gets a positive emotional boost when hooked up. He's able to work more efficiently and feels good about himself and others; he also feels mentally clearer. However, when not on the machine, he feels foggy and depressed, and he takes medication to keep up the good mood. He is a model beforan a citizen.
