see ik dark empathy gets a bad rep cause its correlation with gaslighting an shit but honestly i feel like there needs to be like a distinction between dark empathy (bad) an dark empathy (good) cause i feel like it's also a really good term for when you have all the tools for emotional intunement with other people but you got enough damage to know how to keep your walls up an move in silence yknow. so like basically the difference between dark empath (toxic) versus dark empath (survivor) is how you weild that social finesse an manipulation for good or evil. like you can see the strings but you choose to use em responsibly. also i don't think we necessarily act like serial killers i think that's a little too generalizing man.
