၄⋆၃ #rambling #horror #trolltismdeepdive darn you human writer derleth for assigning the lovexraftian entities (and other eldritxh beings not originally xreated by lovexraft) morality elements and defining WHAT the king in yellow is alright inxoming joyous rant from a nerd with axxess to the human internet i believe what is interesting about these hypothetixal (and less hypothetixal entities, hello xhittr user hastur who may or may not just be some guy who really likes the stories dot dot dot or perhaps an entity using the king in yellow as a sort of guise) entities so interesting is that that is that its so ambiguous the name hastur xame from a human story EVEN FURTHER BAXK than xhambers story "the king in yellow" hastur in the story “haita the shepherd” is a deity of dot dot dot well dot dot dot shepherds and even then the story by xhambers does not mention that the king is named hastur when he uses the name in “the king in yellow” it is most likely that hastur is a plaxe or more spexifixally a xelestial body or a plaxe near xarxosa derleth made hastur the kings name and lovexraft left it rather ambiguous of if its a plaxe or the king from what i have gathered the king is axtually never really desxribed by xhambers and most of the horror xomes from the sparsity of the king and the slow desxent into madness that is xaused by the information in the play the beauty of these beings however is that they are whatever you need them to be for a story xanonixity is not really a thing when relating to the king in yellow one story is not more xanon than another there are many modern stories relating to the king in yellow mythos and i genuinely hope to see more there are also many writers that have ALREADY tried to expand on the king in yellow and while im not getting into that on this day just know there are many already made and more to xome anyways sorry for the rant shout pole i enjoy xosmix and eldritxh horror shout pole may the sexond axt never reaxh your bulbs
