My last thoughts on The Thing before I go to sleep; great movie overall with a fascinating setup (preexisting group isolation) and a realistic way that things like trust and communication would break down. FANTASTIC practical effects!! That shit was gnarly for real. This movie being a group of only men really adds to it as an almost case study bit. They all think THEY can lead/take charge of the situation. Individualistic as opposed to an actual group effort.
