The simple version is that we exist on an A1 (us) A2 (them) system. There was a big (Persep related) juncture that our beautiful and smart and lovely time/mind players were able to manipulate into a beautiful if/elseif/else statement. A1 is the if statement there are an infinite amount of statements between A1 and A2 (the else ifs) and A2 is the else! Most of the time the elseifs just kind of collapse back into one of the true (A1/A2) timelines. Usually A1. If they ever play the game, A2 all non-game related times. So, the people in the A2 timeline are who we USED to be. But after that (Persep related) juncture, we have totally different memories, experiences, and whatever elses. And the important thing is that if the A2 people EVER play SGRUB, their timeline will collapse back into ours and their thems will be cannibalized by their A1 counterparts.
Eh, the timeline shit is pretty specific session to session. This is just our bullshit, and we definitely had to work hard to make it happen, it's not like we accidentally walked into it.
