Have you tried turning it on occasionally? Perhaps, though counterproductive at this time, using it? Spiders are drawn to frequently dry, unchanging environments. Cobwebs are liable to form when let alone similarly. Not trying to imply anything, but it could help solve your problem and soothe any insecurity that might crop up in the process.
