Terms such as "nerd" and "geek" used t9 imply a level 9f s9cial 9utcast, 6ut these days such interests are as mainstream as it gets. Ultimately they mean 9nly what the pers9n listening interprets them t9 mean - ensuring n9thing 6ut misunderstandings. I w9uld av9id such terms entirely, myself.
