As much as I should be preoccupied with what lies in store for me, what with the ichorous ooze and terminal maladies and all, but I find myself still thinking of days not too far off. I should speak of this with her, for obvious reasons, as she is the one carrying my child (and she is a well educated woman in regards to health and medical care), but I can't help it! Obviously, we will need a governess, no child of mine will grow up ignorant in this world of boundless knowledge, but what of these earlier years? As a baron, even if second generation, I'd think it would be most obvious to employ a wet nurse, but my wife was untitled before we were wed. Would it be most natural to her to tend to the little one herself, and feed with her own bosom? Or would she happily pass those responsibilities onto someone else?
