[S] => Attend the wake of Jinx Egbert. [The file loads, that text appearing on screen, before being slashed into thirds by green and orange claws- and then crosscut with the blades of a familiar cane. Footage; Jinx bound and furious, struggling against the restraints, a man clad in obnoxiously generic black assassin attire pacing around in front of him. To the side, a few others, troll and human alike, crowd together, all in hoods masks and cowls. There is a knock at the door, one approaching. as he opens a slot at the top to peek through, Terezi thrusts her swordcane through piercing his skull. The assassin turns, moving to throw aside the body and toss open the door, while the other figures run out a side exit. Jinx shifts, and then jerks her head back, causing the chair to fall over... now face to face with the massive claw of something akin to a bear. The assassin stumbles back under the bladed asault of terezi's cane, shifting and ducking a slash, a massive dagger produced to parry. Deva, glowing violently; flies through the entryway, their claws extended, tackling the creature just as it tries to slam a paw on jinx's head; the heir letting out a squeak as the chair gets smacked away, slamming into the wall and shattering. She stands, arms still bound, her eyes scoping the scene. A black hooded troll with stout horns stands, eyes closed as if in focus. The assassin and terezi's duel continues, the seer hesitating, ducking, and kicking out as the assassin ducks low. catching him square in the face. he staggers back, throwing his knife as Terezi surges forwards, deflecting the blade with one swing, and slicing across his throat with the other. Terezi then pauses, patting at their throat, sides, and stomach, as if to confirm they are uninjured. Deva, meanwhile clutches to the bear around its neck, claws out as they try to find purchase to stab. Jinx meanwhile sprints at the figure in the back, jumping for a dropkick to his chest. as the man stumbles, the bear's thrashing changes, confusion in its movements as it thows off Deva- who turns their head- hands extending as a beam of green and orange flashing energy knocks back the bear; who turns and exits... by demolishing a wall. The stunned troll coughs up some bronze, clutching its stomach; deva upon him in a blur- mauling him then and there. the scene closes as jinx rips her chains off with a heavy motion, feeling her strength return. Terezi investigating the downed assassin... as he vanishes, head and all.
