I have to point out on my last post that, considering inaction is what causes the other person to die, shooting yourself isn't really doin' anything but causing said person you love to now have two dead people on their hands.... It's very eerie how quick the lot of ya are to jump to that, though. Makes me worried 'bout the lot of ya. #self-harm #suicide
Because I've been there and done that. It was a sword I forced into someone's hand, they were the bullet. I'd do it again if it came down to it.

Shooting one's self in this scenario is not acceptable. As he said, it would only leave your loved one with more dead loved ones. Just because you can't face the consequences and would thus prefer to take yourself out instead, does not make you the hero in this situation. It makes you the coward.
