Not that I am particularly taking anyone’s side here, but perhaps we should not allow ourselves to become overly consumed by this. The website does provide tools to block users and blacklist tags; sometimes it may be healthier for all of us to simply close the application for a while and collect ourselves. It was certainly strange, do not mistake me—but I have, admittedly, witnessed far worse.
