OPENING ARGUMENT! first off, through the power of unimaginable violence, all things are possible. so jot that down

POINT OF ORDER! "assume"

OBJECTION! also this is improper character evidence under rule 404(b)(1): "evidence of a crime, wrong, or other act is not admissible to prove a person’s character in order to show that on a particular occasion the person acted in accordance with the character."

This isn't a court discussion! Ththere is no solid evidence or shared legislation, it's an informal debate.. Very informal, I'm not even ssure what I'm arguing for. Ccould I at least define my thesis? Or get some papers ready?

READING ONTO THE RECORD! i am also not sure what you're arguing for. why are you mad about the power of violence & its incredible effectiveness
Oh. Okay, thank you. Uhm. My thesis. Vviolence hurts people, and hurting people is morally wrong in most cases, so therefore using violence is morally wrong, effectiveness notwithstanding.

POINT OF ORDER! well im pretty sure my original post didnt say anything about morals. but sure, i'll bite: RESPONSE ON THOSE GROUNDS! violence hurting people is fine actually that's the point
Well "all things" does imply also being able to hold a moral standing.. Since that is a thing... Bbut nevermind that Okay. So. We've hit a bit of a disagreement here. Ccould you tell me why you think hurting people is fine

CROSS(?) EXAMINATION EXPERT TESTIMONY! if someone is hurt, it's because they weren't strong enough to prevent it from happening, or were otherwise found lacking. therefore, it was completely natural & there's no reason to be bothered by it on a *moral* level. sure, i wouldn't care for it to happen to me, or certain individuals i care about - but that's a matter of preference, not an objective moral stance. READING ONTO THE RECORD! this was interestingly difficult to put into words. i suspect cultural differences regarding violence is a much bigger disparity between our two universes than the Rules of Evidence which i cited earlier. culturally & personally, i suspect that i would be qualified as "particularly nihilist" by human st&ards. RE: WHY I THINK HURTING PEOPLE IS FINE! there's nothing wrong with it. (though i admit in that sense at least i do defy a cultural norm: i don't see caste as a particularly defining quality in one troll or another's inherent & inalienable right to shed blood. lowbloods will usually lose against a highblood, but if they win, i think that's fine. i'm woke like that.)

POINT OF ORDER! also, even you conceded that hurting people would only be wrong in "most" cases. ergo there are already situations which we would likely AGREE violence could "hold a moral st&ing". so it is, in fact, capable of all things
