I believe ≈ork on the manor is complete. I am tired. Hearthmaiden is doting on me, offering food and beverage and doesn't seem to get that all I desire at the moment is to be face do≈n on a comfort slab. I have been face do≈n on a comfortslab for an hour. She still passes by my door asking if I ≈ant anything. She is trying to make up for 16 s≈eeps.
Feeling a bit better. Got back to ≈ork a bit ago. My ancestor has gone back to doing her o≈n thing, leaving me alone to do ≈ork. I'd say I am about half≈ay done.

Ah. So. I guess that confirms some things. The Hearthmaiden is not just an ancestor to me, she is. More directly involved in my creation. Take that as you ≈ill. I'm still coming to terms ≈ith it. She's been enjoying dropping these bombshells on me as I'm trying to do my ≈ork.
She has given me free reign over the decisions regarding the manor, ≈hich is both good and bad. Good because she's keeping out of the ≈ay, bad because there is just a lot of ground to cover.
She's doing this half as a test for me and half because the Hearthmaiden has not had the Hearth open to the public in a long time, only doing the basics of keeping things clean. She's out of touch, understandable, she's ancient. Speaking of, I ≈as also able to finesse some autonomous cleaning units as ≈ell to keep things in check as ≈ell.
Renovation is definitely in order. Or at least, to an extent. Ne≈ furniture at the least. I'll reach out to my Mercantile Guild contacts and see ≈hat the damage ≈ill be. Likely fine, the Hearthmaiden has near limitless funds I may as ≈ell tap into that. Likely ≈ill repaint as ≈ell. I don't ≈ant to modern hive this place, ho≈ever, the dated look has its charm. It just needs less cracks.
