There is a problem with my blood. I noticed it after using the ablution trap. The seam around my cranial plate had become damp again. I assumed the stitches were leaking old blood from the operation, so I pressed a cloth against them. The cloth came away lime. Not rust. Lime. I rinsed it beneath the faucet. It remained lime. I checked my reflection in the refresher. Perhaps the lighting was wrong. Perhaps the cloth had been stained beforehand. I pricked my fingertip with a sewing needle. Rust. That made sense. Then something warm crawled out of my audio ducts. More blood. Lime again. It crept down my jaw in little branching streams while I watched. I collected a drop between two fingers. It refused to become rust no matter how long I looked at it. I opened my cranial plate. The channels carved through my thinkpan glistened with the same impossible color. It seeped lazily from between folds that had long since scarred over, collecting inside the carved spaces before escaping through the seam. It looked... old. Like it had been trapped there for a very long time. I searched the civic net for complications following pan surgery. Nothing mentioned incorrect blood color. Nothing mentioned blood emerging from the audio ducts. Nothing mentioned cranial seams that cry. I considered reporting myself to a mediculler. Then I remembered I am a perfectly ordinary rustblood. Rustbloods do not spontaneously become limebloods. That would be absurd. I have changed the bandages. If they are lime again tomorrow, I will assume the refresher is still broken. #cwBodyHorror #cwBlood #medicalhorror #bodyhorror #body-horror #blood #cw-medicalhorror#ablutionTrap #refresher #thinkpan #diary
