What is a bad guy but a good guy where everything went wrong? We aren't talking about psychopaths here, since I apparently need to be very specific about what I mean by these questions. Every story I have read or script, for that matter, the bad guy is just some normal good guy or kid that got a bad childhood or some terrible thing that happened to them. Questions of "where did it all go wrong?" are given around like fried chicken at home after a church lets out on Sunday, but are never asked of the villain. A good portion of these villains' lives would be changed by someone just sitting with them and hearing them out or going into their past and stopping it. I know it wouldn't make a good movie or book because there needs to be proper conflict, but these are things I think of daily.

kid i think you might just live under a rock if i'm bein honest. lord frieza a la dbz, joker dependin on the iteration, lex luthor for sure, anton from nk country for old men, fuckin uh. idk dracula.

@lovwerBoy[LB]

Lux had a reason. Stupid but „waaah I wanna be in the spotlight“ is a reason. He felt wronged by Superman’s arrival. Don’t know Anton. And Lord Frieza I had forgotten about because I watched that stuff when I was like 5. I don’t live under a rock if they were just forgettable. I just simply forgot they existed.

oh i get it like evil for the sport of it. huh. yeah i mean i still feel like a lotta supervillains fit the bill. maybe less so grounded stuff but like at that point i feel like it's still hittin the psychopath territory you were excludin

@lovwerBoy[LB]

Hmm well another Dirk and I came up with an idea of something that could be written to make that villain type. You’ll have to read up like 24 responses but it seems interesting.

dog you're still describin either supervillains or sociopaths or both, friends or not.

@lovwerBoy[LB]

I didn’t say sociopaths are off the possibility. Only psychopaths and didn’t say supervillains were off either. But most if not all supervillains are “I had a bad situation let me make it everyone’s problem real quick.” Which is why Lux is off and lord Frieza is in the clear of fitting the description.

wait why sociopaths but not psychopaths what's the metric here

@lovwerBoy[LB]

psychopaths are typically born with neurological differences that cause cold, calculated, and emotionless behavior. Sociopaths usually develop these traits due to environmental factors like trauma or abuse, making them more impulsive, erratic, and emotionally reactive, which I guess puts them on a weird could be couldn’t be on this case, because they have reason but I didn’t say sociopaths were off that possibility till like right now?
