the gilded ginger is a super rare bullshit un-plantable vegetable exclusively found in the glass desert an endgame area two gilded gingers spawn at five in the fucking am every in-game day across seventy four goddamn possible spawn points you only have roughly 20 in-game hours to find them before they despawn you cant fucking plant them so you've got to hunt for them they are needed for achievements and for completionism which you know my ass is all about your only hint where they are is a light little sparkle sfx and a fucking lucky break spotting them
it has a story for you to discover as you go about a dude who was there before you and the gal you play as is a long way from home and drifting away from someone they really cared about but it's all in letters and random diary entries so you get the full experience of being all alone on the ranch and reading these letters and feeling more and more disconnected from people you love
