right ! yes of course . this hypothetical troll should do what other people say and try to contact others for help . if using a gps isn't a 100% viable option , just stay still . otherwise you will get more off course , and people searching for you will have a harder time . hypothetically .

Anyway, the tr-o-o-ll sh-o-o-uld mark a starting p-o-o-int as a new h-o-o-mebase and then set -o-o-ut t-o-o-ward a landmark they can see and if that d-o-o-esn't get them back t-o-o- the trail return t-o-o- h-o-o-mebase and try again in a different directi-o-o-n. Widen the perimeter -o-o-nly slightly after y-o-o-u've exhaust the feasible -o-o-pti-o-o-ns
