@anonymousAfterthought dont wanna hog liaka's post. I'm comfortable with most of my scars hell half of them are the result of me like, being too stubborn to wear armor for most of them. it just makes it hard to talk about it with like a professional from even more wacky earths (though admittedly I haven't tried Earth C) without them thinking I lost my mind. Oh yes this one was from fighting a man who could turn into bees, here's one from some hellspawn that nearly snapped my leg off, oh here's a big fucking bite from the direwolf I fought once on some far off world, here's a scar that got left after I did a grand sacrifice to save the world. It'd all kinda like, damn me in most therapist situations. As for poking and prodding them, yeah I do it sometimes when I remember they're there, a lot of them have started fading thankfully. #violence

But there's still probably hope! The Earth C situations seem pretty wacky they got trolls and humans and uh. the chess guys there i think, random existential scarred up women wouldn't be too out of place there, i just forget about it existing. but yeah thank you all the same. You seem very kind :)

therapist is very concerned about all the stories about my scars for some reason :/
it's why i stopped going. "Hey, Hope why do you have that scar running through your abdomen that looks like it hurt a lot" uhhh. tripped and fell boss. yup. that's it.
You ^re ^lw^ys ^llowed to tell them you ^re not looking to spe^k ^bout your body ^nd will seek ^ltern^tive c^re if th^t is not ^ limit they c^n ^dhere to. It does help sometimes...to ^cknowledge our sc^rs. But they ^re not something to be prodded ^t. Both figur^tively ^nd met^phoric^lly.
