Doesn't it? I think it's kind of tragically beautiful that Aranea's meddling had to run its disastrous course for me to become me. Well in most cases anyway. There are a few rare examples where Rose is prototyped as a second revive during the final battle and Jaspers hugs her protectively but mostly it's the canon scenario more or less and honestly It does make me feel lucky to exist mrrow :3
