I see these different ways of reacting to a post. There's liking, hating, pitying, but what I want to know is in what situation would someone "mediate" a post?
it's a more specific case, i think mostly intended for replies, like if two people you like on the platform are bantering or.. y'know the opposite of bantering, to show that you don't want anything too drastic to come out of the interaction? but it could also just be a signifier of being in a "middle ground" of sorts.. but then again i have no real idea
usually it's like, "dude you gotta stop" but not coming from a place of sympathy, like with the pale react.
POINT OF ORDER! in addition to the purposes mentioned in the earlier applies, i also use it to express doubt i often picture it as a condescending "uh-*huh."*
