No, no. Despite being hot, really big volcano events are actually global cooling. The sun gets blocked out so the planet stops being heated by it for a few centuries while the ash settles.
I don’t think you’re right but I don’t know enough about the concept of global warming to disagree with you. Carry on.
Global warming is when the sun gives us too much heat, right? Greenhouse gases trap some more of the heat and prevent it from escaping. Really big volcano ash does the opposite and prevents it from entering.

It does, but in the way that it insulates us against the heat coming in. The planet doesn't heat itself up, it just retains heat from the sun. And having that very insulating ash means no heat is reaching the planet.
