I think that would simply be called "fear" or "terror" and that others calling it irrational when it is not means that those others are 'gaslighting' you. to gaslight someone is to make them feel crazy or irrational about something that warrants actual concern. for instance, consider a troll has been abusive to another troll, but tells the troll whom they abuse that it 'isn't abuse' and that they 'are exaggerating' about their complaint of the abuse. what that abusive troll is doing is gaslighting. it is a form of lying meant to manipulate the pan of another.
