Hello. I'm Equius Zahhak, one of many, but I go by she/her. From a doomed timeline, but recently moved. I swear I have grown for the better. Sorry for being weird as a youth.
D --> Guess it is time for an introduction post since eyes have been drawn to me. Hello. There are already a handful of me myself and I on this platform, but for those unfamiliar, I am Equius Zahhak. I am a fitness junkie, an engineering fanatic, and hoofbeast appreciator (though less these days, but you could say that I'm still a horse girl.). Besides Maryam, who has left to embrace human culture, only Nepeta and I remain of our iteration. You can blame Makara for the majority of that, but I can hold no ill will for the decisions made when we were all so young and troubled. I still regret what I had to do, and not because it cost me an arm and a leg. About five sweeps ago, I had come to terms with my identity. No amount of gains or immaculate sculpting of my body through building muscle made me happy, until one of the humans suggested introspection and consideration on what would make me happy. I guess I was overcompensating in the masculine ideal in hopes that it would make me happy. But then I tried a dress, and it all clicked. So I had started and to this day continue to take feminizing hormones. I'm. Happier now. It's not perfect, and I still have a long way to go, to grow emotionally and of course, physically. But I'm on the mend, I think. So please, she/her pronouns. I may still make problematic mistakes, but I am trying to unlearn these behaviors. I apologize in advanced if I ever do slip and will when it happens, if it happens.
D --> I don't know. I just think. Part of the issue with us is the lack of having fun. You would think I'd get more serious as I got older, more strict. No. Especially since we have moved here. It's a new start. Catch me in the back yard grilling for fun or helping Nepeta with painting. Daily runs as well every dusk, I've got a few acquaintances and (friendly, platonic) rivals in the neighbors, where we try to beat each others times and distances. I may start an archery club soon for like-minded people as well.
D --> Ah. That's. Interesting. A version of me being. Like that.
D --> I'd say that's way too many swords, but I do the same with bows and arrow inventions.
D --> But then again it's fun. There is something freeing about creating things for just fun. Will I ever have a need for a rocket-propelled boxing glove arrow? No. Is it fun? Yes.
D --> The cartoon hoofbeasts are back, I see.

D --> The way my pusher nearly leapt out of its cavity. I am hoping I did not make an ass out of myself.
D --> Apologies if I'm ever a bit. Odd if I interact with some of you, especially if you were a part of my old friend group. The majority of you were gone. It feels sometimes like I am looking at ghosts. Sometimes I am. I'm happy most of you have lived on and are maybe even happy.
D --> Finally, the workshop is done. Me and Nepeta have spent most of the evening celebrating our hives (partial) completion. It will be a work in progress as we continue to figure out what we needs as we live here. We went out for a nice lunch, and she's taken me dress shopping. It's been a fun time. Picked out a few that I liked and a few she recommended. May post pictures sometime.
D --> I see we are talking about firearm friday. I have dabbled with guns. Mostly bolt action, long-range rifles, and while not exactly a firearm, I have a crossbow as well. These are close enough to how I'm used to fighting with a bow. However, nothing will come close to the effectiveness I have with my greatbow. Armed with spear-like arrows, I can pierce the hull of imperial ships and other spacecraft should I need to. These other weapons are fun diversions.
D --> It is a combination of my Strength and the draw weight of the bows I have alchemized over the sweeps. I have less effective bows that I use for more casual needs (frankly my main bow is overkill), but my iconic is what is able to pierce through most things. Couple that with arrows of a wide variety of uses and niches and that's why I prefer them over firearms. You can't put a punching glove on a bullet.
D --> I am back for better or worse. We recently got a new hive with a garage and workshop attached. Me and Nep have been working to get it furnished and I think it's coming along well. She's excited being around people again, she's already decorated one of the spare blocks with a new shipping wall. It's. Nice being around people as well again.
D --> Small confession. I did brighten my text. Hardly compliant, not like it matters much nowadays. The dark interface and I had to stop butting heads.

D --> You are right. Unfortunately I worry about a lot of things these days, it is hardly rational.
D--> I would not do the same but then I am not you. And the change does make it easier to read.
D --> Oh. Did I show back up at a bad time again. They're doing what to people.

D --> Is it wise to do something even if you know it will likely end in a great deal of pain for yourself? Perhaps. But, even if just a little bit, I can make amends for what my counterparts have done? It will be worth it in my eyes.

D--> I too am going through a #redemptionarc and it is nice to see a version of myself going through the same. I wish you e%ceptional success in righting whatever wrong you are ashamed if.
D --> At the moment? The trend of problematic decisions made with our robotics. I would've rather put my pan in a machine than subject others to it even if circumstances required it. D--> Ah yes. That piece of stubborn scar tissue. I have my own plans to resolve the problem, involving Heart player shenanigans but perhaps if we collaborate our respective plans could rise above their individual pieces. There is at least one Aradia I would like to help as soon as possible.
D --> I can't make a list of my own, it's been too long. Besides Nepeta and the vague idea that Aradia is still around, we're all that's left. Nep is pale for life with me, we've spent most of our time near each other. Thinking about her in such ways feels weird. Aradia will always be complicated. I hope that she's happy doing what she's doing. It's the same response as Nep but in the opposite direction. we're practically strangers nowadays, it'd be weird thinking about her other than as an old acquaintance that I could've treated better.
D --> Mhm. I would probably do the same to another me given the chance, if I knew him to be a problem. #violence.
D --> Mmh. More confirmation that I've been improving. Good baseline to look back to for reference.
D --> It is both heartening and bittersweet that other timeline versions of my friends exist on this platform. I wish I could have shown them how I have changed. I suppose I still can. But there will always be a bit of a disconnect.
