But, he sparked something in me. Something I didn't know I had. The desire to protect something that wasn't mine. Eventually the arguments shifted to banter, and the banter to gossip. Our relationship was brief- I had to leave the planet, and he would have to fend for himself again- and nothing approaching any sort of quadrant. But I think about him often. He was a little brat, but he inspired a hope. Hope that he survived, even if we'll never meet again. We both know what happened, or at least what probably happened. 𝙼𝚎𝚖𝚘𝚛𝚢 𝚏𝚒𝚗
