At a recommendation from my HR department, I've gone ahead and acquired an alcoholic beverage called scotch. Now, I'm going to tag this with #substances just to make sure but I do not intend to imbibe until I'm incapacitated. That would be unrefined. My first thoughts are this is *significantly* better than wine. Whereas wine tastes like being assaulted by fruit and fizzy water from all angles until you're buried alive, scotch has a much bolder taste. This one at the very least is briny, I feel it in my chest. It has a pleasant burn. Yes, I believe this will be my beverage of choice from now on.
