Sometimes it takes a drink paired with a little introspection to unveil why you're feeling like shit on a random Tuesday. Maybe a casual rip and tear of the soul. Prune away what you don't like, what doesn't serve you anymore. Sure. Treat yourself like a garden, someone more optimistic or sickeningly sweet might say. Not much use growing flowers when there's rot in the soil, though, if we carry on with this bullshit metaphor. Might get something weak and timid.
