publishing to the jury: flamingo's g+er into the g+ers of chittr publishing to the jury: part 1 --- @televisedAviamor disclaimer: (i do not plan to cover the other g+ers on here. the "part 1" is purely cosmetic) sidebar: this is the part where you do a funny little skit, right? like a st+-up routine. i don't really think that's the fun part so i'm just gonna say "point of order: what's the deal with dream bubble food" + leave it there sidebar: ok i lied i do actually want to do an introduction before i get started. hi, g+er. i have a lot of time on my prongs. + if the other g+er's gonna blow up your spot about the whole panchip thing then i also want a turn. you're a weird little dude + i think we should all take a second to really turn the magnifying glass around, so to speak publishing to the jury: without further ado, let's take a g+er at g+er grimzl. (crowd reacts) publishing to the jury: just gonna say it again: g+er's a weird little dude. i've met several of him around the dream bubbles at this point + i think i've got a pretty good idea of his neuroses by now. like for all that he tries to deflect in conversation he will just answer your questions generally (+ i would like to think i am also pretty observant, where it counts) publishing to the jury: so to get into all that he's fundamentally just a very passive person. part of that is due to the literal chip in his pan that makes him physically incapable of experiencing rage or fighting back in literally any way (did you, the reader, know about that? isn't it wild?) + part of that is due to him just liking to keep an eye on stuff. dude got all the spotlight he could h+le back when he was hosting his "host of shows" + when it was violently ripped away from him (long story) he decided to just. step back from it all. so in the metaphor of stage + whatnot (or film set, as the case may be, but i'm ignoring that for the sake of my metaphor) he's making himself comfortable in a box seat. regular ol' phantasm of the opera over here lol point of order: except instead of murdering + shit he's just, like, knitting + baking + drawing. the picture of a domesticity, really, like total hivesprit mode. oh + also like the phantasm of the opera he's skulking the goings-on of the metaphorical operahouse pretty obsessively. i like this metaphor more + more. publishing to the jury: anyways to really dig into that obsessiveness part like. g+er's kind of a stalker, right? weird to use that word for him since he's generally such a sweetie but. it's not just for the sake of writing psychoanalyses that he reads through all of somebody's profile, or tracks down identifying information off-site, or writes notes on everyone he interacts with + genuinely gets weirdly fixated on people. it's just how he relates to the world. he's very thoroughly distanced himself from society writ large but longs for connection anyway, you know? point of order: + by connection, i don't just mean being a part of other people's lives on his own terms, lurking amiably, the guy in the corner at a party just holding a drink while everyone else dances. i mean like metaphorically* crawling into someone else's skin + living there. this sort of dissecting + categorizing of every little thing about somebody is a generally well-intended impulse but it's not a selfless one at all disclaimer: *i met a version who took this more literally. lol point of order: when he does actually talk to people, either in a real conversation (rare) or when he's presenting to the class, he is asking you to love him. + he has already braced for you to refuse. there's always assurances ready in his back pocket that, however cruel or callous you'd care to be to him, he doesn't mind. point of order: that's a bit of a recurring theme. he can't mind. he can be hurt but he can't fucking do anything about it, including dislike you for hurting him. publishing to the jury: so what we have here is a guy who, aside from voyeuristic tendencies (unrelated to pailing, in that context he prefers getting directly bossed around), just wants to make other people happy. he's a veritable font of almost unconditional affection. + in a lot of ways, that's a coping mechanism he's had to develop after the chip thing: fight's out of the question, so he has to pick between flight, freeze, or fawn. fawning is the easiest + safest option he has. publishing to the jury: + insomuch as he likes people (for lack of a better option, maybe, but not insincerely) part of distancing himself from everything includes trying to present himself as a mascot rather than a person. to follow-up on the "he is asking you to love him. + he has already braced for you to refuse" thing, he doesn't *actually* want you to look at the man behind the curtain. maybe that's a self esteem thing, maybe that's a lack of trust thing, probably a bit of both lol. publishing to the jury: he's a seer of heart, by the way. godtier versions of him that i've met get kind of weird ᴹBP closing statement: maybe there's a way to tie all this together: "he's obsessed with other people", "he's shy", "he wants to be loved", "there is a chip in his pan that physically prevents him from experiencing rage or doing anything to protect himself", "he's nice, but what's the alternative" , etc. there's some kind of thesis to connect these points. iunno closing statement: this is where he usually ends things by addressing the person directly with some bit of advice about how to be more mentally healthy or whatever. sure. hi again, g+er. we're not birds of a feather, exactly, but you're neat anyway i guess. don't forget that there's some people out there who really do care about you, g+er grimzl, + not just the dorkass silly goose persona you want people to see. if you wanna live happily ever after you need to get comfortable with people giving a shit about you for real, + put your strutpod down a little harder when they don't. closing statement: also, this is where you'd usually promote the subject of the post + ask everyone to follow them. i think most of the people reading this to the end already know you, + are probably following you, so instead i'm going to ask everyone to try + engage with you as a person. + pay just a little bit more attention to your whole deal beyond the superficial facade + willingness to churn out flattering reflections of them by the gogdamn dozen. anyways that's @televisedAviamor folks he's a weird little dude who's gotten up to some truly crazy shit + i think more people should acknowledge that. https://cdn.imgchest.com/files/d3dde8e14800.gif
