Though, the hook was set long before your hand touched the reel. You mistake the tug for a struggle. You call it a sport that tests patience, and even luck. But the water knows the shape of each creature that lies beneath its calm surface. It knows which hands will return empty, and which boats will not. Destiny is not a net. Destiny is the tide.
