hi everyone! sorry i didn't post any reviews yesterday, my laptop was giving me a lot of trouble yesterday after trying to download a movie i'd been recommended. hopefully it should be fixed now and i can go back to reviewing!
the aristocats (1996) ohhh what is there to say about this movie?! it was one of my favorites growing up and i cannot express nearly enough what a masterpiece of animation and storytelling it is. it's definitely not just nostalgia talking, lol! every time i watch it i always get in just such a good mood for the rest of the day or night. roquefort is such a stand up mouse guy! 10/10
remember everyone, always be kind and rewind your vhs tapes! you don't want to accidentally harm them, especially if they're in your collection!
murder by the book (1971) | columbo this introduction to columbo as an actual series is perfect! jack cassidy is a great choice as ken franklin and i really enjoyed the battle of witticism between franklin and columbo. jack cassidy was so charming and fun to watch and his reactions were great when he got pressed more and more. i also think that the twist of how he committed the murder and where the idea came from was great as well! overall i would have to say 9/10! or maybe 9.5/10...
haha i'm #269 on the new update. nice! i will come out with a new review soon though!
prescription: murder (1968) | columbo personally i really like this tv movie! as an introduction to the character of columbo i think it overall does pretty well, even if it is a little disconcerting to see him well groomed compared to his other appearances as columbo! i like the way the murder is set up by dr. flemming, as well, and i think all of the acting is done well. gene barry was a great choice to portray dr. flemming! overall i think prescription: murder is a wonderful introduction to columbo and i am very glad that it was popular enough to spur on the tv show afterwards! 8/10.
hi everyone! i found out about this site through some mutual friends so i thought i would create an account! i thought it would be more interesting have my account centered around reviewing whatever vhs tapes i can find in my house. there's a lot to go through, so buckle in and enjoy the ride!
