My Dirk is not set in the same time as canon Dirk he's set in 2050 and he is 30 years old His Jane is dead, His Roxy ignores him, and his Jake is his only friend besides the robots. His Dave is not at all in any which way cool or interesting he's an asshole who left Dirk alone on a private island so nobody could easily access him because he is like most alpha Dave's ridiculously famous. His Dave finally came home when he was 29 and 4 days later on Dirk's birthday he overdosed on cocaine in his room Dirk hadn't opened the door he only knew cause of the smell he finally opened the door to make his bro a sprite. Dirk is in all meanings of the words a loser, loner, ridiculously stupid, and he is childish. My Jake has never grown up fully he lives in a city, has a job, a wife, and kids but he has whimsy that he expresses with Dirk. My Dirk lives in a normal world and can leave the island at anytime he wanted sure but he's terrified of the outside (Agoraphobia) and what comes with seeing other people face to face. So he stays inside with his robots, the trash, and the awful rotting smell of his bro. Until he discovers Sburb something not of his timeline. Something he can use to finally see Jake in real life. Apologies if any of this alarms you. My Dirk is def not for all and that's fine he's my baby.
