in honor of #megidomay i havve decided to wwrite a poem about those strange and liminal moments on my safari excursions wwhen i havve to fill the scuttlebuggy wwith gasoline and i thought it wwould be fun to flex my creativve muscles so wwithout further ado ahem ahem wwhen you unholster the gas pump and expose its tremblin insert and you push it into your buggys hole and feel the hose stiffen wwith liquid and you hold dowwn on the trigger wwatching your buggys tank fill all the wway up until its close to its breaking point and only then do you let the pump slide out and it is still dripping and you plug your car up to make sure nothing leaks out and you dont evven clean the naughty pump as you hang it back up for the next car to enjoy and you drivve awway mess still leaking in a trail on the ground behind the pump evveryone can see wwhat you havve done but none can say anything
