'Vexar stared at the half moon with longing, staring through the glass of his bedroom window. He never knew he could feel for such longing, for the longest the moon was only something of a painful reminder, a curse that gripped his being down to his very bones. He thought on his last cycle, the last full moon. He had struggled through aching joints and painful migraines to chain himself to the support pole of his basement. He hadn't realized he was not alone until he had felt a comforting hand on his back, easing newly grown fur and growing bone out from splitting skin. At some point, during the midst of his transformation, Alucard had wormed his way into his home, followed the sound of his painful howls and had found him shivering and cowering on the cold cement floor. When he realized who the hand had belonged to, he had nearly bit it off from the wrist, snarling at the semi-unwelcomed visitor. But, instead of the usual petty jeering, they simply... assist isn't the right word. He hadn't done much of anything at the time, simply sat with him through the painful process of his monthly lycanthropic transformations. It was out of character, for the noble. Vexar had grown so used to seeing the man as some mere foolish gossiping gnat, yet here was, comforting him through the most painful experience he had to go through. It was nice. Having someone with there with him, who wouldn't run away at the sight or sound of him. Not that the others in town would drive them out, no they were fully aware of Vexar's affliction. Many offer their condolences and support, but it was always with an unsteady air of fear. No one had ever offered him company during such things. It was nice. It was so very nice, and he had no idea what to make of it. He limped back towards his bed, a struggle to get in and out of after a transformation. Distantly, he wondered if alucard would show up again, next full moon... He doubted it. As nice as it was, he most likely was just seeing his misery in person to make fun of him later. But Vexar would hold the memory in his heart as he drifted to sleep, appreciating the company he had given him. Even if it was only for teasing purposes.' Originally was jut going to put t his into the drafts, but well. I figured, mayhaps, just this once, I would share my writing. It is amateur, I am certain, but I am semi happy with it. They are characters I've had for quite some time now. I hope you enjoy them.
