Self obsession and self hatred go hand in hand. Though I do wonder if others— specifically non Dirks ever suffer from this overlap.
Is there a larger sample size to prove that, or is it only based on you and Eridan’s comments? I’m curious. I’m not sure where you’d get that knowledge, but I’d love to look into it.

Sure, I understand we’re a destructive class. But I figured for us it was because of the heart aspect and how much we are superseded with ourselves. I just can’t imagine a destroyer of doom having the same sort of narcissism and self hatred. I mean, by your logic, is everybody who works in demolition suffering from the same mindset? I’m not saying you’re wrong, but it feels like confirmation bias.

I do understand what you’re saying. I just think it’s still presumptive in a sense to make it a class thing. I’m not against it, because your explanation is an interesting theory, but I’ve only really known two princes, and one is myself- a heart player. The other is a version of you, who I barely know. But I’ll think on this more and try to draft up more thoughts on the matter. Thanks.
Maybe I should use this website to post a breakdown on my view of sexuality and labels and why I don’t particularly enjoy using the label ‘Gay’ despite my attraction to men due to how I grew up, my complex feelings on the idea of gender, as well as the limitations of labels in of themselves. I would do this in a multi part essay, of course. I have a lot to say on the matter, and also in general.
