i have a theory that its because sburb does not fucking like it when one of their player characters gets jumbled up with their game constructs so it just goes "uhhhhhh fuck better try to maintain the player component as close to default as possible" meanwhile theres dozens of unfortunate ass crows that couldve been shoved in there maybe your crow was just particularly nasty
