troll steely dan'S debut album, "can'T buy a thrill", is some of their strongest work. while the general genre of the whole album is a little hard to pin down exactly (mostly soft rock, with some troll latin hints and a bit of jazz?), the songs on it are all very easy listens. tunes you can have in the background and calmly listen to, or ones you could groove along to if you'RE in the mood, with even some of the more sad tracks (midnite cruiser, for example) not really evoking such a deep feeling of sadness. the juxtaposition between troll steely dan'S sad, cynical song topics, while being rather upbea...Read more
