Lusus emancipation is Very much a thing on Earth C, btw. It operates similarly to the emancipation that one might seek from their human guardian, but with fewer requirements to proVe to the state. It helps that most who pursue it are, in some way or another, prodigies in their desired fields and haVe already ensured their places in higher education at a young age, or haVe already joined a workforce.
