I feel it best that I extend a formal apology, to Laika and those who love them. Last night, I helped them relapse. I offered them alcohol, and did not even try rescind that offer after finding out they were four months sober. I was already more inebriated than usual myself, and I believed at the time that allowing them to get plastered would keep them from doing something worse. Selfishly, though, I think I just wanted someone to get wasted with. I'm sorry, Laika. Please, please don't blame yourself. You were vulnerable, and I was irresponsible. For what it's worth, I was glad to have you around either way.
