The game is typically meant to be played by adolescents so adult beverages while not disallowed are naturally disincentivized much like insanely overpowered items.

That's true it is not! Unfortunately if such a switch did exist which I can legally neither comfirm nor deny it would need your game-appointed Guardian's permission to activate.
